Race Schedule & Route Information

Start: Oceanside, California

End: Annapolis, Maryland

The planned 3,013 mile route passes through California, Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, and includes about 150,000 feet of climbing.

The route includes some of the best scenery in the southwest going through Arizona and New Mexico with exciting down hills and climbs. A wild ride down Mingus Mountain through the old mining town of Jerome , AZ will keep everybody's attention.  Racers will climb to over 10,000 feet through the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and descend the mountains at speeds over 45 miles per hour!  There is promise of tailwinds through the deadly Oklahoma panhandle as the route heads northeasterly through the area. A real view of the American heartland expands for a thousand miles as riders pass Kansas City , St. Louis and Indianapolis . Farther east the route goes through historical sites including Sharpstown, Hagersburg, Gettysburg , and Chadds Ford to finish at historic City Dock at Annapolis, Maryland, home to the U.S. Naval Academy.
